We partner with multiple community-based organizations, schools, universities, minority- and women-owned businesses and charitable groups, consistently demonstrating our core values and promoting the passion and commitment of our people.
At Electric Boat, we’re proud of the philanthropic support we provide to our neighbors, and strive to strengthen our surrounding communities through several charitable contributions made annually to a growing network of organizations and efforts related to community, health, military and education. Our employees possess this same mindset, individually choosing to give to various charities and agencies of their choosing.
Employees of Electric Boat founded an employee organization in 1951 dedicated to the support of non-profit health and social service agencies in our surrounding communities. For over 65 years, our employees have been working together through the Electric Boat Employees’ Community Services Association (EBECSA) to strengthen and support the communities we call home. Through voluntary employee donations, the EBECSA continues to support hundreds of programs that promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all in need. In addition to monetary donations, the EBECSA gives back through volunteering, encouraging all EB employees, friends and family members to dedicate their free time to help at community service and fundraising events that keep the agencies we support alive and thriving
